weight loss weight-management-or sports performance
Your first appointment is a 50-60 minute consultation which will include a discussion about your medical history, family medical history, lifestyle choices, blood results (if relevant), dietary history and anthropometry (body measurements). This discussion and assessment is necessary in order to set goals, compile a healthy eating plan and to give dietary advice, support or guidance. Your personalized meal plan* (not mandatory, although highly recommended) is discussed at the next follow-up appointment which is scheduled 4-7 days after your first consultation.
Follow-up consultations are scheduled any time between 2-4 weeks apart (depending on your preference). During these 30 minute consultations we will discuss and assess dietary changes and weight progress. Your dietician will also provide more information, advice, motivation, encouragement and support should there be any challenges or barriers that may be preventing you from reaching your weight and dietary goals. Your follow-up appointments are individualised to help you along on your journey towards healthy eating and healthy weight.
